Hostel er kvikmynd eftir Eli Roth frá 2005. Orðið snípur er viljandi skrifað vitlaust eins og það kemur fram í ensku undirtekstanum á dvd útgáfu myndarinar. Þetta var gert til að aðgreina það frá enska orðinu sniper.
